Extreme Skiing, the places, the equipment, the fun
If you practice extreme sports, you know how hard they can be on your body. Whether you do martial arts, jump off of strange objects, ski in ways nature most likely never intended… or any other thing that exists somewhere in the realm of near madness, your body is going to take a beating. And as we all know, if you rest, you will get stronger. But, if you do not, you will eventually hurt yourself very badly. So when you go home, you need to take some time to take good care of your body – neither man nor woman can live on adrenalin alone, and a little pampering does NOT mean you are “going soft,” or any other macho nonsense. Needless to say, if your bed is not up to snuff, that is the first place you need to start. If you do not get a good night’s sleep on a regular basis, you might fall off that cliff in a way you did not intend to (can you say, “OW?”?) And of course, a comfortable chair to lounge in as you unwind is a good way to let the world stop spinning, after seeing how many flips you can do when jumping out of a plane before you “chicken out” and pull your chute cord. And did you know that your bathroom accessories can also influence how well you rest up? There is nothing quite as refreshing as a nice, hot bath, followed by a good steam to get you sweating in a slightly less active way than running from bulls. And after you’ve worked up a good sweat, cool down by taking a nice, cooling shower. After all that, you should be plentifully relaxed to sink straight into your wonderful bed. And if not, maybe you’re a little too extreme.
